Air Force Week New England - Wings of Hope Air Show takes flight at Pease Air National Guard Base August 18-19, 2007

PORTSMOUTH - For the first time since 2000, a world class air show returns to New Hampshire's seacoast with Air Force Week New England - Wings of Hope Air Show 2007 at Pease Air National Guard Base, Portsmouth, NH. This year the Air Force is celebrating their 60th anniversary and this air show will emphasize the Air Force's rich heritage and limitless horizons.

Air Force Week is a new initiative for the Air Force designed to speak to the American people. There were 6 locations throughout the nation chosen to host Air Force Week and Pease ANGB was selected to co-host the Air Force Week New England with Otis ANGB. By combining the most senior Air Force officials, flight demonstration teams and unique ground displays the Air Force wants to communicate its' amazing story.

The Air Force Week New England - Wings of Hope Air Show 2007 is a civilian-military partnership between the NH Wings of Hope Foundation, which is led by the Brain Injury Association of New Hampshire, and the NH Air National Guard. The goal is to produce a world class air show at Pease ANGB to benefit the charities represented by the NH Wings of Hope Foundation.

The Air Force Week New England - Wings of Hope Air Show 2007 will showcase United States Air Force air power, including public display of nearly the entire USAF inventory and high energy flying demonstrations. In addition to an impressive USAF presence, there will also be civilian aviation acts offering awe inspiring, gravity defying feats.

The Air Force Week New England - Wings of Hope Air Show 2007 packages leading edge technology with raw power, modern-day heroes, and the timeless mystique of human flight, all brought together for the benefit of local charities. The result is world-class entertainment in a festival environment. The weekend of August 18-19, 2007 promises to be an exciting time for aviation enthusiasts young and old.
